Three games in three nights? No problem.
The Ice Muskies (9-6-2) won three games in a 48 hour span this past weekend, capping off the stretch with a 6-5 shootout win Sunday over the Battle Creek Revolution at Oregon Community Sports Arena.
Madison traveled to Detroit for a two-game series Friday and Saturday night, winning the first contest 5-4 before taking the second 6-2.
Sunday, the Ice Muskies trailed 5-3 heading into the final period. They tallied two power play goals in the final 20 minutes before winning in the shootout on a goal by Mitch Kerns.
Kerns finished the game with a hat trick.
The Ice Muskies will host Battle Creek again Friday night at Oregon Community Sports Arena. It is the last of four games played in Oregon, Wis. this season. The puck drops at 8 p.m. CT.
